Roots is a team event.
You can help us seed youth success by joining the Roots roster as a…
We offer Youth Gardens an opportunity to give their youth unique, challenging experiences. At Roots, participating youth learn how to turn the healthy produce they grew into tasty salads, then get paid to sell their salads beyond their neighborhoods. If your Youth Garden is in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area, contact us to learn more.
Part of the Roots philosophy is to expose participating youth to large audiences and venues outside their communities. We’re seeking additional major league, minor league, college and other sports venues where Roots youth can sell their salads and stretch their entrepreneurial wings. Contact us to learn more.
Local restaurants, delis and retail outlets make our recipes and offer Roots salads to their customers (along with marketing materials we provide) to help spread the word. We’d love to see Roots salads sold at your location. Contact us to see if we’re a good fit.
Sponsors are individuals, businesses and foundations that make major contributions to Roots by way of monetary or in-kind donations. Whether your passion is getting America to eat well, improving access to fresh wholesome foods, seeing youth develop to their full potential, giving multicultural kids more opportunities or simply having healthier options to eat when you go out, we share your passion and hope you’ll contact us about becoming a Roots sponsor.
Career Ambassadors serve as role models, giving Roots youth a taste of diverse professions that open their eyes to new possibilities. We’re always looking for new role models in food, business and sports to share an hour or a day to help our multicultural youth grow their appetite for vocational success. Contact us to learn more.
